Did the initial US release of "Aerosmith" have remixes of "Dream On" and "Write Me" that would later appear (and be credited) on the 1976 reissue?

Don't buy from this guy. He is a con man & a cheat.

Legendary. This is one disc that every rock fans should have in their collection (stating the obvious).

As far as first records go, Aerosmith really hit hard with their first release.

Rating: 9 pts.

CD re-issue included on the "Box Of Fire" box-set.

One of the greatest debuts in history of hard-rock (and pretty much rock in gral.).

This issue has a somewhat crisp, thin sound lacking bass but it is an improvement over the original vinyl sound indeed by its clearer and brighter middle range and high pitched sounds.

Bought this album in 1973 for .99¢ out of the discount bin. My friends and I all thought it kinda sounded like ZZ Top, (especially Movin' Out), and it quickly became a favorite. And, I could relate to their high school/dope troubles! They shoulda kept those liner notes.
Not long after, they came to my area, and played a small theater. Only about fifty people showed up, but the band tore it up. We had this album to ourselves for about a year, then they blew up all of a sudden! And deservedly so.
People are often surprised when I say this is my favorite Aerosmith album. I'm sure some of it is sentimentality, but really, this album rocks. I love the raw sound of it. It's the sound of a working bar band. Or the sound of a bar band working? Whatever, it's gritty. About the only song I could do without is Dream On, possibly because it was such a big hit.
